The Egyptian head coach Hector Cuper has declared that his team’s play-maker Mohamed Salah is fit and will play against Uruguay on Friday in their World Cup’s opener.

Coach Hector claimed that Mohamed Salah is ‘almost 100% certain’ to feature against Uruguay in Yekaterinberg on Friday afternoon.
Salah is doing very well indeed, he’s recovered very quickly. We’ll see how it goes today. I can almost assure you 100% he will play, barring any unforeseen factors at the last moment,
the former Inter Milan coach told reporters on Thursday.
Salah has scored 33 goals for his country, with the remainder of the 23-man squad in Russia having only netted 33 times between them.
