Governor Rotimi Akeredolu has shut out powerful politician Asiwaju Bola Tinubu out of Ondo state.
The Governor say’s Tinubu and his reconciliation efforts are not needed in his state.
The state helmsman speaking recently on the peacemaker task give Tinubu by President Muhammadu Buhari declared “APC is solid here We do not need a Peacemaker here because we are at Peace. We don’t want external influence that can lead to Problem. We need a peacemaker in places where they are palpable crisis. We are at Peace here. Ondo is a Peaceful state”.
Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is tasked with reconciling all warring parties within the ruling All progressives Congress nationwide.
The development has pitched him against party leader John Odigie Oyegun who the Tinubu accused of sabotaging him based on claims of protecting “territory” – though the latter publicly proclaimed his support for the former.
It is instructive Akeredolu became Governor of Ondo state against initial passionate opposition from Tinubu.
